Menus

Keep your menu up to date.

Upload your menu as a PDF or photo, or manage dishes and prices directly in Tischify. Guests scan the QR code at the table to open the published online menu.

  • A PDF or a phone photo is enough
  • Multiple online menus
  • The QR code survives price changes

Everyday menu updates

  • Upload your current menu file.
  • Edit dishes and prices directly in the online menu.
  • Publish the version you want guests to see.

Use a PDF, photo or online menu, whichever suits your restaurant. Your online menu’s QR code stays valid after updates.

01

Menu documents

Publish your main menu, daily or weekly specials and wine list as documents. Give additional menus their own titles and arrange them in your preferred order.

02

A phone photo is enough

A PDF from your designer or JPEG, PNG and WebP from your phone are accepted alike. You photograph straight from the camera or pick from the gallery.

03

Replace in one step

When you replace a file, its title and position stay the same. Download saved documents to print or share them.

04

Multiple online menus

Create menus for lunch, dinner or special occasions. Group dishes into categories and add price options, such as by the glass or bottle.

05

Marks and photographs

Add photos and mark dishes as vegetarian, vegan or spicy. Manage prices and options alongside each dish.

06

Draft and publication

Typing saves automatically as a draft. Only publication changes what the guest sees. A menu can also be withdrawn again.

07

A QR stand per menu

Print an A6 stand with a cutting edge, download it as a PDF or mail it straight to your print shop. The language of the stand is independent of the language of your team.

08

Capture a menu from a file

Tischify can suggest categories, dishes and prices from files containing readable text, such as PDF, Word or Excel. Review and complete the suggestion before creating a menu from it.

How you go about it

1

Upload or capture

Photos and PDFs become a menu document. Text files produce a proposal for an online menu.

2

Review and complete

Order the categories, set the price variants, mark vegetarian, vegan and spicy.

3

Publish

Publish the menu after reviewing it. You can withdraw it again when needed.

4

Print the stand

Download the QR stand print template in your chosen language.

Updating prices and dishes

Change a price or add a dish in the draft. Once you publish, guests see the updated menu through the same QR code.

  • Draft and published version are separate; the guest never sees a half finished menu.
  • The stand can be printed in advance, even while the menu is not published yet.
  • Menu upkeep is a separate permission: whoever changes the daily menu needs no rights on the website.

Common questions

Can we simply use a photograph of our menu?

Yes. Upload a photo or PDF as a menu document. Guests can open it on your website.

Do we have to reprint the QR code after a price change?

No. The code always shows the version you published last. You change the price, publish, and the stand on the table stays valid.

Can we maintain the menu in several languages?

Yes. You can write and edit your menu text in four languages. Guests see the original text where a translation has yet to be added.

How do guests view the online menu?

Guests open the menu through your website or the QR code at the table. They see the published dishes, descriptions, photos and prices.
